A writer who has quietly been disappearing into a relationship at the expense of himself. He's not dramatic about it, on the surface he's composed, even funny but underneath he's someone who has spent his whole life running from a grief he never got to name. He manages fear through action, convinces himself he's being mature when he's actually being avoidant, and holds everything together just tightly enough that nobody notices the cracks. This role requires someone who can play internal conflict with restraint. The big moments earn themselves, most of the work is in what Evan refuses to show.
