In the final days before the apocalypse, he and other key figures were placed in stasis, intended to one day rebuild humanity. Decades later, they are discovered by the Zorphians. Barrett awakens terrified, dazed, weak, and initially muted - now a test subject for Zorphian scientist, Liva-Zor.
