He has kept a low profile due to the small amounts of money he has consistently earned, and his growth has been able to compensate for it. However, when Marco came to light and Jesse knew he was already laundering money for some crime families, he became his target. Another fact is that the economy has taken a turn for the worse, and he is unable to cover the spread.
