At 17, Grace was involved in a devastating car accident and was clinically dead for four minutes and thirty-seven seconds before doctors brought her back. She remembers experiencing a profound warmth and hearing a mysterious voice say, "Not yet." That experience ultimately inspired her to become a doctor. Grace has built her life around saving people. She believes in medicine, evidence, action, and doing everything within her power to keep someone alive. Her worldview is therefore very different from Caleb's.
