Casting two newsmen; the human representation of the rhythm of a 1930's newsroom. They need to hold tight harmonies when singing together. They need to be able to hold stage when soloing in the numbers. There will also be a step out for the role of Earl Williams - an out-of-work and sad young man who is in prison for mistakenly shooting a policeman.
