Sam (8) is a young kid, sensitive to the world around them. Their best and only friend is their dog who prefers their company best. Though they don't understand the extent of their parents troubled relationship, Sam does realize the negative ways it affects them. Sam is just a kid. They run, laugh, and play, finding unique ways to entertain themself while responding to the world around them.
