Mid 20s to mid 40s male of any ethnicity. A British, Shakespearean hermit who has been living alone in a forest with very little human contact for nearly 1,000 years and, due to the forest's magic, has forgotten his life before the forest. He may not remember his past, but he still feels the weight of the tragedy that led him into the forest, even if he cannot remember it. When he meets a modern day girl in the forest, she begins reminding him of his past and bringing out a softer side of him. As he warms up to her, he slowly feels the weight of the memories she's bringing back. This creates a paradoxical relationship of a tender and caring mentor, who is keeping up an emotional barrier. It all culminates in a moment of connection where the Woodsman realizes the importance of community and remembering the good moments and the bad moments.
