Mary has a lovable personality, easy to get along with until the director starts pushing her buttons. She snaps back. The character Mary was casted to play is trying to break up with her long-time boyfriend, Jay. Much like her boyfriend, she's finding it difficult to come up with the words to break up with him. She's stubborn, sassy and her ego gets in the way. Both characters don't realise the other is trying to break up with them.
