The pragmatist. The strategist. The woman in the room who sees the whole board and has been playing it longer than anyone knows. Mia is not the unknowing victim of Dimitri's secret; she is his partner in it. She chose this arrangement with full information and genuine love, and she has been managing it with precision and loyalty ever since. What she didn't account for was Xander. What she didn't plan for was tonight.
Mia is the most capable person in the clearing and the one with the most to lose. She fights to the end, literally, with a mirror shard in her pocket and a wedding ring beside it. She is not saved. She saves herself as far as anyone can. This role requires an actor who can play intelligence without coldness and grief without sentimentality. Mia is never a victim. She is a woman whose choices were real and whose ending is earned.
