Early 20's. Noah is meeting his girlfriend's parents for the first time and is rightfully a nervous wreck, but he does his best to hide it -- but that skill is put to the test throughout the film. He's sweet and unassuming, a boy-next-door type, but he's also got the capacity to lie to people's faces; he's hiding an embarrassing secret after all. Most of his fear and nervousness can be seen merely by the expressions on his face (and where most of the humor of the film lies).
