Street-smart and perpetually annoyed. Sam runs a shady operation out of a bowling alley and is clearly the brains of the duo. Their dialogue is sharp, sarcastic, and filled with frustration — especially when Joe messes up a “simple” job. Though they are ruthless, there’s an exhausted humor to them, like a person who’s had to clean up Joe’s messes too many times. Tone: Frustrated pragmatist with biting wit.
