Lead Actor Job in 'Pace Break', Female, Age 20-25 - Whitney Dillard

A 20-year-old collegiate runner in her junior year. Running has become so deeply intertwined with her identity and sense of self that she can no longer separate who she is from how well she performs. Disciplined, ambitious, and fiercely competitive, Whitney has built her life around pushing past her comfort level, even when it comes at the expense of her own well-being. Beneath her exterior is someone terrified of falling behind, losing her place, and ultimately her sense of worth. She believes that if she works harder, runs faster, and refuses to give in, she can keep everything under control; but Whitney is reaching a breaking point, and admitting that she needs help would mean confronting the possibility that she can’t simply push through this one. Her greatest strength is also her greatest weakness: she refuses to quit.

Talent must have capability to show various levels of physical/psychological distress. Crying on command is a large bonus, but not required.
