All role tracks open. Actors who can sing (playing a hand-held musical instrument a plus) with min. 2 yrs Shakespearea training & stage experience. Perform as Shakespeare did: No mics. Minimal sets & lites. Artist-Manager model (some staff may be in the cast) Roles doubled ( or trebled). Must play both "the hero and zero" in the same show. Example of 12th Night cast might be 1.) Orsino/Malvolio 2) Andrew/Sebastien 3) Toby/Sea Captain 4.) Viola/Feste 5.) Olivia. As the production is a residential company, they practice "intuitive casting" which means they focus on the personal character and chemistry of the ensemble first and choose the roles and shows after they choose the ensemble--they craft the shows around the skills, talents of the cast not the other way around. This makes for a very cohesive ensemble with shows in which the actors can really flourish. Thus, shows are subject to change due to ensemble composition (Note: Shows selected will be listed in contracts).
