Marta is a loving mother, but she's not perfect. The stress of immigrating to the US about to be a young mother has conditioned her to constantly be in survival mode. She wants the best for her children, David and Santi, but is worried that she can't protect them forever. As she watches David about to graduate high school, she feels more and more guilty about a secret regarding David's real father. Note: Character has Spanish speaking lines.
