Lead Actor Job in SHOOT THE FILM, Male, Age 65-80 - Frank Gillis

FRANK GILLIS (Late 70s)
A retired stage actor who never achieved the success he believed was within reach. Brilliant, witty, demanding, and occasionally intimidating, Living in a grand Victorian home that masks a fragile financial reality, he is fiercely protective, judgmental, funny, and often infuriating. Frank has spent a lifetime encouraging—and criticizing—his two filmmaker sons. He sees genuine talent in them, which only makes their failures harder to watch. A larger-than-life presence with a sharp tongue and a generous heart, Frank is equal parts mentor, adversary, and father.
