Nermal is actually a nice guy, but his ego gets the best of him. An important feature of him is that he has the classic “Erm.. actually” nerd voice when it comes to talking about his special interests. His ego sometimes blinds him to social cues. Growing up, Nermal was the typical “smart kid” who always excelled in the academic field but hardly ever in the social field. Cassie stood up for Nermal when she saw that he was being bullied and Nermal joined in with her friend group consisting of Spuudle, Thomas, Violet, William, and Dorris.
