A stagnant young man who is, in every practical sense, lost in life, apathetically drifting from day to day. He can appear quiet and shy, but when comfortable has a lot to say. Jack has subtle hints of substance abuse problems (i.e, smoking, drinking, and nicotine), and as the film goes on, he becomes more accepting of this lifestyle through being around his father. Must be okay with smoking on camera.
