A reasonable man. You wouldn’t guess that though, because from Jim’s drug-altered perspective The Principal is the all-knowing, all-seeing, all-hearing judge of Jim’s deepest insecurities. He presents himself in business casual, and a sport coat that may as well be covered in the blood of his enemies. His office is filled with hunting trophies and weapons, and grows in size over the course of the film. In reality, The Principal was just like Jim when he was in high school.
