Leah (19) has a quiet- cool presence. She is a little messy, and carries herself with an understated confidence that hides a deep loneliness and depression. She isn't loud or attention seeking, but when she's with Jack, she tries to become brighter than she feels- hoping that one day he will finally see her for more than she is. This role relies heavily on subtle, natural acting with minimal dialogue. The ideal actress can communicate longing, vulnerability, and love through eye contact, and small expressions. One scene contains improvised movement/dancing.
