A calm woodland healer rooted in herbal knowledge and ancestral practice. She moves slowly and intentionally. She carries authority, but is not overtly dominant. This is a subtle, performance-heavy role requiring emotional restraint, internal complexity, and strong physical presence over dialogue (minimal dialogue).
A physical struggle with the other lead will be required in one scene.
Must be comfortable hiking wooded terrain to locations.
Must be comfortable working up to chest deep in spring-fed water (approx. 56–58°F).
Must be comfortable working in and around water environments and prepared for wet/variable conditions.
Notes for casting:
Naturalistic, period-believable appearance preferred (this is a historical-inspired setting).
Accent preferred (English, Irish, Scottish, Spanish, or other dialects that feel authentic to the actress are welcome).
Avoid heavy contemporary styling (modern glam makeup, lash extensions, etc.) to maintain period authenticity.
Hair should feel natural and time-appropriate to the world of the film.
