20s. The one who builds the machine. A warm, restless tinkerer, the friend who's always mid-project, always narrating into a camera "because someday everything's gonna matter." Aims a homemade time machine at 2045 to bring back a cure for his dying best friend, overshoots to 2100, and gets stranded. Carries the entire back half of the series through direct-to-camera monologue in a single fixed location, this role is dialogue-heavy, emotionally exposed, and largely solo on camera. We need range: easy chemistry and comedy in early episodes, then raw, unguarded grief (think one continuous take, no cutaways to hide behind). Strong self-tape technique a must. The character's humor has to feel unrehearsed even when the moment is scripted.
Both roles are emotionally demanding, dialogue-light, and camera-forward, this is a performance-driven project, not a stunt reel.
