The leader of her coven of witches. She comes from a holler up on "witch mountain" in the deep woods of Appalachia. Being the eldest of four daughters, Mary has an instinct to nurture others. Much like her father, Mary is a pious Christian but uses the bible as a spell book, learned by her Granny who was a witch. Mary now leads a coven of three witches, all from different parts of the south; Texas, Louisiana, and Virginia. Mary can recite a bible verse in the drop of a hat and has a vast knowledge of folk magic. Often using her bible verses as a power of persuasion to make people do what she needs.
