Casting "Loads," a University of Michigan student short film. Looking for a college-student daughter in her late teens/early 20s and a 40-50 year old mom in an all Asian-American/AAPI female cast led by an Asian-American female student director. In this short film, Kennie (late teens, early 20s), the resentful daughter of an early on-set dementia patient who is struggling to grieve what remains of her mother, discovers new purpose in her pain while back home from college for the summer, cleaning up after her mom in the same kitchen she grew up making a mess of.
