'My Little House'

Allegories of me Los Angeles, California

Casting "My Little House," a powerful, faith-centered stage play that follows Melisa, a confident, stylish, and high-functioning woman who appears to have life under control on the outside—but is silently carrying emotional trauma, hidden pain, and unresolved wounds within her “house.” Through her daily life, Melisa is supported by her grounded best friend Jackie, while also encountering a series of men—Fredrick, Curtis, Smoothy, and others—who each represent different forms of emotional distraction, humor, ego, and surface-level connection. As life unfolds, Melisa’s inner world begins to manifest through symbolic and spiritual experiences. Her “house” becomes a living metaphor for her soul—filled with hidden closets, emotional leaks, locked rooms, and memories she has refused to confront. When pressure builds, Melisa begins hearing the voice of Jesus, calling her to “clean out her house,” confront her buried pain, and surrender what she has been carrying alone.
