TV Extras Casting Call
Job Description
A television production is seeking paid background extras to work on an upcoming shoot in the Chicago area. Casting directors are looking for men and women between the ages of 20 and 40 of all ethnicities to portray non-speaking background characters. This is a great opportunity for both experienced and first-time extras to gain on-set experience in a professional production.
Job Responsibilities
Portray background characters in television scenes.
Follow direction from the production team on set.
Maintain continuity and professionalism throughout filming.
Be available to work a full production day, including evening hours if required.
Requirements
Ages 20–40.
Open to all genders.
All ethnicities are encouraged to apply.
Must be a local hire in the Chicago area or surrounding eligible locations.
Previous background acting experience is welcome but not required.
Compensation
$136.40 for up to 8 hours.
Overtime paid at time and a half after 8 hours.
