Job DescriptionA new Netflix television series, The Woods, is now casting non-speaking background actors for upcoming filming in the Newburgh, New York area. Production is seeking adults ages 18 and older to portray a variety of background roles in scenes set during the 1970s summer season. Filming will take place across multiple New York locations, and talent should be prepared for full-day and evening shoots.
Job Responsibilities
Portray non-speaking background characters in various scenes
Follow on-set direction from the production team and casting staff
Maintain continuity and professional behavior during filming
Be available for full-day shoots, including possible late-night filming
Participate in wardrobe fittings if selected
Requirements
Adults ages 18+
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
Must have flexible availability for filming days and evenings
Comfortable working long production hours if needed
Ability to work in outdoor and on-location filming environments
Must be available to work in Newburgh, NY and surrounding filming locations
Compensation
SAG-AFTRA Rate: $224 for 8 hours
Non-Union Rate: $187 for 10 hours
Full-day and evening filming commitments required
