Newscast Director

WSET is looking for a Newscast Director.

**Responsibilities:**

Perform any production duties as assigned including:

* Direct and TD any assigned newscasts and special productions using Ross Overdrive
* Maintain studio and control room
* Studio floor manager
* Operation of robotic cameras
* Teleprompter operator
* Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned
* This is a morning shift, Monday through Friday 4am - 1pm.  But you must also be willing to work holidays, nights, and weekends as needed for fill in

**Requirements:**

* Experience directing newscasts
* Knowledge of production standards and equipment
* Ability to clearly give direction to crew while under pressure
* Ability to read and write, college degree preferred
* Must be able to lift & position equipment of up to 40 pounds

The base hourly compensation range for this role is $17.79 to $18.89 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
