Mark and Denise appear to have a happy and successful 25-year marriage, yet internally they are both emotionally unfulfilled. However, they have suppressed their honest feelings from a shared traumatic experience, the death of their second child, for so long that they don't know how to communicate about it. On a seemingly routine evening, their stuffed emotions erupt into an explosive high stakes confrontation that will make or break their relationship. This is a very demanding role, requiring a large emotional range from despair to anger and everything in between. The character's backstory involves giving birth to a still born child.
