Casting "ONLY FIFTEEN," a prestige coming-of-age drama set in Santa Cruz in 2002, following Lorraine, a fourteen-year-old navigating her freshman year: first love, a fractured family, and a past she is only beginning to understand. The pilot is the first chapter of a planned four-season series adapted from the creator's adolescent journals. Tonal kinship to Thirteen, White Oleander, and Mysterious Skin: emotionally precise, never gratuitous.
Produced through HWY17 Studios with Chez Serendip Foundation (501c3) as fiscal sponsor. Note: This material deals honestly with adolescent trauma and its aftermath. All roles written as ages 14 to 16 are cast with performers 18 or older. Some scenes involve simulated intimacy and depictions of trauma, handled with restraint and rendered largely by implication. A certified intimacy coordinator will be present for all sensitive scenes.
This is a pilot. If picked up, "ONLY FIFTEEN" is planned as a four-season project, a potential multi-year commitment. Casting for the pilot does not guarantee continued casting if the series is acquired; any series roles are subject to the terms of the acquiring network or platform.
