Position: Part-Time Musical Theater Teacher

We are seeking a creative and collaborative Musical Theater Teacher to design and lead a weekly performing arts class for students ages 6–10. This class will combine acting, movement, and music in a playful, process-oriented setting.

Schedule & Details:

Class Days: Thursdays & Fridays Class Times: 1:30–3:30 PM Start Date: August 27, 2025 Prep Time: Paid planning and coordination hours available in August Compensation: $25–$45 per hour DOE, including prep and class time Age Range: 6–10 years old (Grades 1–4)

Responsibilities:

Design and teach a developmentally appropriate musical theater class that nurtures confidence, creativity, and collaborationIncorporate elements of storytelling, acting, singing, movement, and stage presencePlan a culminating in-class performance or showcase at the end of each sessionCollaborate with RCS staff and adapt plans to meet student needs and interestsCommunicate positively and professionally with students, staff, and families
