Performer Paid Actors Needed for Island of the Blue Dolphins at Laguna Playhouse

**Overview:** Laguna Playhouse is seeking talented performers for the production of "Island of the Blue Dolphins". This TYA production is designed to tour to schools, but this year, students will be brought to the Laguna Playhouse for performances. We encourage applications from Indigenous, Black, People of Color, and populations underrepresented in the theatre. **Responsibilities:** • Perform as part of the cast in "Island of the Blue Dolphins" • Physical ability to perform mime with props and run • Ability to attend rehearsals and performances • Ability to take direction and work collaboratively with the production team • *Qualifications:** • Equity actors are sought for various roles in the production • Local actors are encouraged to apply • Physically adept at mime with props and able to run • Ability to attend rehearsals and performances from October 28 to November 15, 2024 • *Benefits:** • Competitive salary of $643.00 per week • Opportunity to work with a talented production team • Professional development and growth as a performer • Employment contingent upon passing a background check
