This could be a monologue, sonnet, or any other Shakespeare text. The goal of the audition is to see who you are and what you are capable of as an actor. The intention will be to work with and around this “disruption.” You may be asked to perform your prepared work in an improv style or with one-of-us involved. Because directors believe in the collaborative process of theater, you may also make suggestions during your audition as to how it should go. During this month, actors will be encouraged to meet with each other and the directors on a casual basis to work through things.
