Production Set Designer / Staging

KnowledgeCity’s production team is currently looking for an experienced set designer/stager to spearhead and ensure our eLearning courses have a modern and high-quality look to our productions. You should have a great eye for design, the ability to take a blank studio space or bland office and add props, furniture, or any other element to raise the visual design our productions. Key responsibilities include but not limited to: • Select and scout locations that meets industry and company standards • Design and stylize the set with props, furniture, and any other element to increase visual quality • Select wardrobe w/emphasis on creating a unified look between the space and the talent • Ensure actor’s makeup and wardrobe meets company guidelines throughout the recording • Purchase needed equipment or props • Continually find ways to improve production processes and quality Qualifications: • Design degree or qualified background experience • 2+ years staging or set design experience • Understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud • Proficient in Google Docs/Sheets • Proficient in MS Suite POSITION DETAILS: Location: Carlsbad, CA Job Type: Full Time (40 hours/week) Job Title: Production Set Designer Salary: $17 to $20/hr DOE Benefits: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental and 401k Business Hours: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (Monday -- Friday) Other: Casual office environment & Stocked Kitchen KnowledgeCity is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
