Radical Hospitality Manager

The position will require you to work on evenings and weekends and may require the ability to lift items up to 30 pounds. Actors Theatre is an arts and culture organization as social enterprise, sharing experiences centered in a commitment to create a more just society through the ongoing disruption of the cycles of oppression, marginalization, and exploitation. Ability to work and collaborate effectively with many different constituencies, including staff, volunteers, and guests.Ability to prioritize appropriately.Capacity to be aware of and in control of their emotional wellness and be able to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically. Adept at creatively addressing problems as they arise.Ability to work as an effective team member and maintain a positive attitude in stressful situations.Effective communication and collaborative skills.Fluency in a second language (preferred but not required) Ability to communicate effectively via emails and in person.Strong understanding or willingness to learn ADA guidelines and ability to educate teams and volunteers in assisting guests with accessibility needs within the lobby and theatre spaces.
