Seeking real families with children who have experience with SNAP (food assistance), whether currently using it, used it in the past, or recently lost benefits. Looking for parents/guardians comfortable sharing their story in a natural, unscripted way. Filming will capture everyday life at home, grocery shopping, and family meals. No acting experience required; authenticity and openness are key.
Production is open to a number of different story directions and is looking to build stories around interested families. We're open to non-traditional family structures, inter-generational households, working families, single parents, rural households, and also community stories (such as a shared farm, or school) or any stories that involve SNAP playing a role in feeding kids.
