Busch Gardens Tampa is seeking energetic Seasonal Scare Actors to bring our Halloween and nighttime events to life. In this role, you'll perform in haunted houses and scare zones, delivering safe, high-intensity scares and immersive character performances. You'll use scripted and improvised interactions to thrill guests, maintain character for long periods, and work closely with entertainment, makeup, and costume teams. Our culture emphasizes guest safety, creativity, and teamwork in a fast-paced, fun environment with opportunities to grow in themed entertainment.
Responsibilities
Perform as a Scare Actor in haunted houses and scare zones during seasonal eventsUse scripted and improvisational scares to engage and entertain guests safelyMaintain character, energy, and stamina during long shifts in varying conditionsFollow all safety, scare, and guest service guidelines and trainingCollaborate with stage managers, makeup, and costume teams for show readinessAttend rehearsals, safety briefings, and performance notes sessionsProperly use props, sets, and scenic elements without damage or riskSupport efficient guest flow and communicate concerns to supervisorsMaintain professionalism with guests and fellow team members on and off setAssist with basic costume, makeup, and set reset as directedRequired Skills
