Seasonal Scare Actor – Garden of Shadows Halloween Event About Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is a world-renowned leader in conservation, plant science, and environmental education. Actors will be Scare Actors in the Garden of Shadows event. Position Responsibilities • Must be available on October 24th and 25th for performances, and all rehearsals (TBD) • Perform scripted and improvised scenes in character throughout the Garden • Portray haunted tram tour guides and deliver scripted narration during tram rides • Engage guests with energy, professionalism, and creativity • Attend rehearsals and costume fittings prior to event launch • Collaborate with fellow performers and event staff to ensure smooth operations • Maintain character integrity and always uphold safety standards • Assist with setup and breakdown of performance areas as needed
