Additionally, the role provides technical support to students, faculty, and other staff, assists in integrating actor scenarios into the educational curriculum, and ensures safety, confidentiality, and compliance with academic policies. • Works with the Simulation Lab Supervisor to manage the scheduling system for all standardized patient actor shifts, and provides timely communications to simulation actor pool regarding scheduling and shifts. • Collaborates with the Simulation Education Specialist and program Faculty to assist with the planning, preparation, and implementation of standardized patient scenarios. • Engages in continuous professional development and training to stay current on emerging instructional technology and best practices. • Two (2) years of relevant work and/or educational experience in any of the following, or a combination of the following; Direct Patient Care, Simulation-based training, Information Technology, Instructional Design, Education, Film, and/or Theater.
