Simulation Actor Specialist

This position involves scheduling, planning, developing, programming, and executing simulation scenarios for programs within the School of Nursing and Patient Support. Responsibilities include managing technical infrastructure, troubleshooting equipment and applications, and operating high-fidelity healthcare mannequins as necessary. Additionally, the role provides technical support to students, faculty, and other staff, assists in integrating actor scenarios into the educational curriculum, and ensures safety, confidentiality, and compliance with academic policies. Works with the Simulation Lab Supervisor to manage the scheduling system for all standardized patient actor shifts, and provides timely communications to simulation actor pool regarding scheduling and shifts. Collaborates with the Simulation Education Specialist and program Faculty to assist with the planning, preparation, and implementation of standardized patient scenarios.
