Standardized Patient/Patient Actor Part - Time

Portray a variety of patient scenarios in a realistic and accurate manner.
Provide feedback and evaluation to students based on their interactions with you as a patient.
Maintain professionalism and adhere to program guidelines and expectations.
Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to accurately convey information and emotions.
Be punctual and reliable for scheduled appointments and training sessions.
Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure a smooth and effective learning experience for students.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and scenarios.
Attend training sessions and continuing education opportunities as required.
Serve as a positive and enthusiastic representative of Duke University's standardized patient program.
Be open to constructive feedback and use it to improve performance.
Communicate any concerns or issues to program coordinators in a timely manner.
Participate in program development and improvement initiatives.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures while portraying patient scenarios.
Continuously strive for excellence in portraying patient scenarios to enhance the educational experience for students.
