St. Luke's is proud of the skills, experience and compassion of its employees. The Standardized Patient is an individual who may portray or simulate a patient as part of a medical case. Standardized Patients learn all aspects of a case portrayal including the patient's appearance, demeanor, chief complaint symptoms, past medical history, family history, and physical findings. Standing for up to five hours per day, one hour at a time. Twisting and turning of hands occasionally.
