We value fun more than chess mastery.ResponsibilitiesTeach children aged 3-7 using the Story Time Chess curriculum, which includes stories, games, and puzzles.Use clear lesson plans and participate in training and ongoing support.Communicate with families, schools, and the team to ensure a positive learning experience.Show leadership potential; high‑performing tutors may be considered for a “Super Tutor” role that includes coaching a team, leading demo classes, and building relationships with schools and community partners.RequirementsFun, animated, and great with children aged 3-7Passion for teaching and hospitalityOrganized, responsible, and reliableGreat communicator – responsive to families, schools, and our teamComfortable with outreach (referrals, school contacts, community opportunities)Familiarity with chess is a plus but not requiredBackground in performance, teaching, or early childhood education is a bonusBachelor's degree preferredBackground check required at hireScheduleAfter school hours primarily, but also some in‑school hoursChoose your own hours (Monday to Friday, with optional weekends)LocationOrlando, FLPosition Details$40/ hour (teaching rate.
