A woman in her 70’s. Gentle, kind, smart. She’s lived in this isolated town her whole life and knows that all of the rules are nonsense but plays along because it’s all she’s ever known. Deep down though she has a rebellious spirit. She has a connection to the two lead characters because she watched them grow up - she is a former school teacher. She is also famous in town for her baking.
