Supporting Actor Job in 'Back & Better', Age 27-40 - Kayla

An expressive, commanding female actor (all backgrounds, ages 30–45) to portray the Artist’s partner for a cinematic music video shooting in Houston, Texas. This is a critical narrative role that serves as the emotional anchor of the film.

In a series of gritty, silent flashbacks, she must convey the quiet exhaustion of a partner walking away from a relationship due to a breakdown in communication and character, not financial loss. In the final scene, she returns to observe his testimony from the back pews, requiring a subtle, powerful facial performance that transitions from skepticism to mutual respect and accountability as they ultimately reunite.
