Sirin is Ali's supposed "right hand man" at the dealership, but things aren't that simple. Sirin came to the US for school in his twenties, the only son of a working-class Turkish family, and embraced a Western life — branching out, making American friends, free of the culture he'd chafed against. Since then he's chased one venture after another — flowers, a restaurant, drop-shipping — piecing together a comfortable life in Manhattan. But comfortable isn't rich, and Sirin is still hunting for his big break. He met Ali at a networking event, and to him, partnering with a seemingly wealthy man is the step up he's been waiting for. He has a sense of right and wrong, but his hunger to rise overrides it. His want is singular: remove Ahmed from the equation and become Ali's true partner. He's not above bending a situation or quietly manipulating it to his advantage, exploiting Ali's trust and Ahmed's missteps to maneuver himself into the position he believes he deserves.
