Sirin is Ali's supposed "right hand man" at the dealership, but things aren't that simple. Sirin came to the US for school in his twenties, the only son of a working-class Turkish family, and embraced a Western life — branching out, making American friends, free of the culture he'd chafed against. Since then he's chased one venture after another — flowers, a restaurant, drop-shipping — piecing together a comfortable life in Manhattan. He has a sense of right and wrong, but his hunger to rise overrides it. His want is singular: remove Ahmed from the equation and become Ali's true partner.
