A misunderstood human/fish-like being that protects other creatures in the lake. She only emerges if necessary. She responds to innocent beings in need, and Barb (10 year old girl) is in need. From over the years, she's been hooked and trapped by many fishhooks and nets. Her skin is deteriorating, and she's developed gils and extra eyes. She uses her hooked hands as weapons.
The deeper lore is that she's a witch that was drowned hundreds of years earlier, and was able to cast a spell on herself so she could live in the water. The Creature has to be larger set and quite tall.
