Mohammed is Ahmed’s ‘ally’ at the dealership. Mohammed is an Arab immigrant who arrived in the US about two years ago, and his English is still limited. After arriving, he started working for his brother, a used car dealer, helping out at the dealership. It didn't take long for Mohammed to realize his brother was exploiting his situation — taking advantage of his cheap labor and his lack of options. As Mohammed began looking for a way out, he met Ahmed. The two quickly formed a bond, and with Mohammed's solid understanding of cars and their mechanical issues, he joined Ahmed in the new dealership Ahmed was opening with Ali. Though Mohammed is no cunning con man, he willingly helps Ahmed run his schemes against Ali, and he doesn't lose much sleep over the ethics of it. There's a humorous naivete to him — a wide-eyed way of moving through a world he doesn't fully understand, laughing off the parts he can't follow and going along with whatever Ahmed puts in front of him.
