A young Japanese woman in her early 20s who appears terrified, vulnerable, and desperate for help after being chased on an isolated road at night. At first, she seems like the innocent victim of a violent stranger, but as the story unfolds, the audience begins to question how much of her story is true. This role requires strong emotional range: panic, fear, charm, manipulation, guilt, and total vulnerability. Dakota must feel believable as someone fighting for survival, while also carrying enough ambiguity to keep the audience unsure of her intentions. Actor must be comfortable with intense horror/thriller material, screaming, crying, physical struggle, being tied/restrained for a scene, and implied violence.
