A Mexican immigrant and single mother, with a striking appearance, who suffers from mental health issues stemming from generational trauma. She migrated to the United States through marriage to Joci’s biological father, a Mexican-American, from whom she later divorced. She views relationships as self-serving and uses others for personal gain. Similarly, her view on motherhood is less about nurturing and care, but rather as an extension and a form of control.
We are seeking an actor capable of authentically portraying the duality of this character: exuding the confidence of a mother who takes charge and does what she wants to do while also conveying a hidden care for her family on screen.
