RAVI (late 50s, Indian-American) — He's the longtime clerk and family friend who has been behind that counter since our lead was a kid. Warm, funny, doesn't complain about anything — the one truly good guy in the film, which is exactly what makes his big scene hit so hard. Small part, but it's an incredibly important one.
